THE FOUR PHASE MINDSET
...a naturally occuring process high achievers
employ to attain personal greatness.
What if I told you that everything you need to know about high achievement, you learned when you were a baby?
In my book, “The Four Phase Mindset”, I share with you a naturally occurring process that High Achievers employ to realize their possibilities and attain personal greatness. This process is so simple that even a baby can do it. As a matter of fact babies have utilized this process for centuries to achieve mastery in many aspects of their development. So if at anytime you had a baby, have been around babies, or were yourself a baby, then you are familiar with this process. Even further, we all have utilized this very same process time and time again to achieve mastery in our own lives; however, most of us have done so unconsciously. So imagine what we could accomplish if we utilized this process on purpose.
I believe that if you consciously absorb the Four Phase principals into your psyche, it will fundamentally change the way you approach achievement in every aspect of your life. Why, because it takes advantage of science that is already a part of our DNA. Since birth we have used this mindset to achieve various levels of mastery, however, somehow as we age, we go through the motions, but seem to have forgotten the fundamentals of this process. Most of us fail to fully utilize this tool to achieve real levels of success and mastery, but the right mindset can unlock possibilities in ways that you never could imagine.
I discovered this process when I was developing a program to assist youth and young adults residing in and exiting from the foster care system. In developing a program that would help them to successfully transition into adulthood and self-sufficiency, I created a program that mirrored these Four Phases principals. My challenge with this book is to help you recognize this process, help you understand this process and show you how to utilized this process on purpose.
Not only am I student of Psychology, an entrepreneur to a fault and the Author of this book, but I also am a Jazz/Classic and Standards Vocalist. I have performed hundreds of songs for thousands of audiences across this globe. Every song that I perform, I learned to master it, using this "Four Phase" method. Athletes, Actors, Musicians, Entrepreneurs, Physicians, Plumbers, Electricians, Nurses, Winemakers, Tailors, Cosmetologists, Lawyers, Designers, Chefs, Barbers, Beauticians, Engineers, you name it, have all used this process to achieve their own personal levels of greatness.

Excerpts from "The Four Phase Mindset"
In a small coastal town nudged between rugged cliffs and crashing waves, there lived a young boy named Antonio. From his bedroom window, he could see the fishermen hauling in their daily catch, their boats rocking gently in the harbor. Fascinated by their lives at sea, Antonio dreamed of one day becoming a skilled fisherman himself. One beautifully, crisp morning, as the sun began to rise over the horizon, Antonio slipped out of bed and quietly tiptoed down to the docks. He watched intently as the fishermen worked, their weathered hands deftly maneuvering the nets and lines. He listened to the rhythmic sounds of the waves lapping against the shore and the cries of seagulls’ overhead. As he breathed in the salty air, Antonio felt a sense of exhilaration wash over him. He knew in his heart that he wanted to learn the ways of the sea, to feel the thrill of the ocean beneath his feet and the satisfaction of a successful catch. With determination glowing in his eyes, and pictures in his mind of many successful days as an accomplished fisherman in his future, he made a silent vow to himself: He would become the greatest fisherman his town had ever seen.
In the meantime, outside the bustling streets of Philadelphia, in a suburb named Wynnewood, a young boy’s journey to basketball greatness began with a simple love for the game. Born into a family, whose patriarch was enjoying a respectable career, playing in the NBA, young Kobe Bryant was introduced to the game from an insider’s perspective. With his father playing from 1975 to 1983 on three NBA teams, the Philadelphia 76ers, the then San Diego Clippers and the Houston Rockets, Kobe, born in 1978, got to experience firsthand the sights, sounds and aromas of hi-level basketball life. At the age of 6, his family moved to the town of Rieti, Lazio in Italy, where the young Kobe Bryant continued to observe and fall in love with the game watching his father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant play in the Italian Basketball league for various teams, including AMG Sebastiani Rieti, Viola Reggio Calabria, and Pallacanestro Reggiana and in his final year for the French team, Mulhouse. Giuseppe Cattani, the President of the Reiti team and former teammate of the older Bryant, recalls Kobe as a little kid. “He had a unique vivaciousness. He followed his father around and would go out into the court to shoot around at halftime and after his games. Even at that age, Cattani, said he could tell that Kobe would be a “great player.”
Kobe’s Family moved back to Philadelphia when he was 13, were the young Kobe would continue to spend hours studying the moves of his basketball idols, immersing himself in the world of hoops with a passion that burned brighter than the city skyline. But it wasn't just the external stimuli that fueled Kobe's passion for the game; it was the way he absorbed it through all his senses. From a young age, Kobe would sit in front of the TV, eyes glued to the screen as he watched the greats of the game showcase their skills. He'd study their every move, from the way they dribbled the ball to the arc of their jump shots. The sound of the ball swishing through the net resonated deeply with him, igniting a fire within his soul. With a basketball tucked under his arm, Kobe would roam the courts of his neighborhood, soaking in the sights and sounds of the game. He would often accompany his father, to the local courts, where he'd experience the game up close. The rhythmic thud of the ball hitting the court or pavement, the squeak of sneakers on the hardwood, the cheers and jeers of the crowd – all of it stirred something deep inside him. As he watched as the older players dribbled, shoot, and dunk with effortless grace, their skill and determination inspired him to push his self, to new heights. He longed to experience the thrill of dribbling the ball down the court, the rush of making a perfectly timed pass, the satisfaction of sinking a jump shot. With each passing day, his passion for the game grew stronger, fueling his determination to learn and improve. As he observed the game with keen eyes, Kobe felt a deep desire stirring within him—a desire to learn, to grow, and to one day become the best basketball player in the world. He visualized himself standing on the court, the roar of the crowd echoing in his ears as he sank shot after shot with precision and finesse.
Across the pond, some 36 years earlier, as a young boy growing up in Paris, Yo-Yo Ma was surrounded by music. His father, a conductor, and his mother, an opera singer, provided a household steeped in classical melodies. Even with such rich exposure, Ma was naturally curious, and it was the cello that captured his attention. From the moment he first laid eyes on the majestic instrument, he was intrigued. Legend has it, when Yo-Yo Ma was just three years old, he accompanied his father to a music lesson. His father, a violinist, was taking a lesson, and young Yo-Yo Ma was left to entertain himself in the waiting room. It was there that Yo-Yo Ma discovered a miniature cello, meant for children, leaning against the wall. Captivated by the instrument's unique shape and curious to hear its sound, Yo-Yo Ma picked up the tiny cello and began plucking its strings. So like many whom have gone on to master their crafts, Yo-Yo Ma’s journey towards mastering the cello, didn’t start with lessons or practice, but through his senses. Every evening, he would listen intently as his mother sang her favorite arias and his father rehearsed orchestral scores. He felt the vibrations of his father’s baton slicing the air and the delicate tremor of his mother’s voice resonating through the walls. Ma's senses were tuned to the intricate layers of melody and harmony. He would sit quietly in his room with his small cello, not yet playing, but absorbing the rhythm, cadence, and emotion from the performances that enveloped the household. . .
. . . Nestled within a cheerful household in a small town in Southern California, a little bundle of joy named Lynné embarked on her journey of discovery. With wide, curious eyes and tiny fingers she loved reaching out to explore the world around her. One sunny morning, as Lynné sat in her crib playing with her toys, she noticed something fascinating. Her parents, with smiles on their faces, were sort of floating back and forth across the room. Lynné’s eyes widened with wonder as she watched their graceful and fluid, movements. Soon she realized that her older siblings were moving in the same effortlessly manner. She quickly figured out, it was their legs below them that were carrying them from one end of the room to the other with grace and ease. Watching with enchantment as they took each step, with their feet firmly planted on the ground, and their arms outstretched for balance, a spark ignited within Lynné’s heart. She felt a deep desire stirring inside her, a yearning to join her parents and her siblings in this wondrous adventure of walking. With chubby little hands gripping onto the edge of her crib, Lynné pulled herself up to her feet, wobbling unsteadily as she tried to balance. Bouncing up and down with excitement as she observed and absorbed their movements, she grew determined to conquer her next great adventure: learning to walk. As she observed the world around her from her newfound determination, Lynné, felt a sense of wonder and excitement wash over her. The thought of being able to see her world in a whole new way was firing off in her imagination and the desire to get started was burning within her heart...
